A NEW CHAPTER.

T O D A Y  ,  A  N E W  C H A P T E R  B E G I N S .

It’s 5 AM in the morning and I’m sitting here writing this down due to the fact that I can’t sleep. Since I graduated high school I have had that feeling that I can't actually describe right now. But I can admit that lately I've been feeling negative about myself, my body, my skin, my life in general. And I just realised that one of the reasons that made me feel that way is what I see on social media everyday and every second of my life.

Perfection is the only thing that I've been seeing all over the internet lately. So I decided that I should stop comparing myself to others, in other words I should declutter some people that I actually follow on social media. People that actually make me feel low about myself and my life. So here are some things I'm planning on doing for a better ME.

DECLLUTTER SOCIAL MEDIA PERFECTIONISTS

I need to remind myself everyday that there isn't something in this entire world that is called perfect. Everything on the internet that I see everyday is photoshopped. What I see in a picture on Instagram is a "moment" photo not an entire life. So a photo might mean perfect but their life might not be perfect.

APPRECIATE MY SKIN

Appreciating my skin has always been my one and only goal that I've never been accepting. I need to start taking more care of it and start caring less about the results. And a huge tip is to never look at your face when you are on your period or else you'd cry "just like me".

ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS

I feel there is so many things in this world that people take for granted and don't really appreciate, like for example the rain, the sunset, the sunrise, the sounds of birds sining in the morning. I would really like to take a moment to enjoy every little thing.

STOP COMPARING MYSELF TO OTHERS

This is the one that I've been struggling with for such a long time, but it is really important thing is to not compare myself to others. There is only one person that can be you and that is you!

SURROUND MYSELF WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE

People with negative vibes tend to make me feel that way no matter what mood or place I'm in. So I should start looking for people that are more positive and that will spread positivity around me, not the opposite. Sometimes or honestly most of the time I would be negative about myself but I definitely need people/friends to make me think positive again.

BE THANKFUL
And last but not least, It's really important to take a moment to reflect on the things that I do have in my life, things that are really positive and just reflect on those and be thankful and grateful for them.
